From a very early age, I’ve had an interest in entrepreneurship. Raised by parents who opened and operated a restaurant, I had a closeup look into the opportunities and challenges of running a business, and I enjoyed thinking about issues such as operations and cost structures. Personally, my first significant foray into entrepreneurship was while I was completing my undergraduate degree and started a painting business employing a few people.

Since that time, my career took me into accounting and financial roles in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors, most recently as the Controller for a non-profit with approximately $20 million in annual revenue. These roles provided an excellent foundation of leadership experience and organizational understanding, but I never lost my desire to own and operate a business. Now, having completed an MBA, I am seeking to make this a reality.

Besides my professional pursuits, another big piece of who I am is my family. I’m married to my wonderful wife Kristin, with whom I recently celebrated 10 years of marriage. Last year, we were blessed with the arrival our daughter Annalise, who keeps us on our feet and has brought us joy in so many ways.
